Keeclox-L Tablet belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used in the treatment of several bacterial infections of the urinary tract, ears, nose, throat, chest, and lungs. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Keeclox-L Tablet does not work against infections caused by the virus.
Keeclox-L Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics (Amoxicillin, Cloxacillin) and one probiotic (Lactobacillus sporogenes ). Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin work by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. Thereby, damages the bacterial cell wall and kills bacteria. Lactobacillus sporogenes belongs to the class of probiotics (live micro-organisms that keeps the body healthy) that help to restore good bacteria in the intestines. Thus, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to prolonged intake of Keeclox-L Tablet .
Take Keeclox-L Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Keeclox-L Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach pain, bloating, gas, or skin rash. Most of these side effects of Keeclox-L Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Keeclox-L Tablet , penicillins, or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Keeclox-L Tablet . Amoxicillin may reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. Therefore, discuss with your doctor about other contraceptive methods such as using non-hormonal birth control measures that include condoms, spermicide, or diaphragm to avoid pregnancy while taking Keeclox-L Tablet . Drive only if you are alert as Keeclox-L Tablet may cause dizziness.
