Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body.
Hhcepo-Cv 2.5gm Paed Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics, namely: Cefpodoxime proxetil (cephalosporin antibiotic) and Clavulanic acid (beta-lactamase inhibitor). Cefpodoxime proxetil works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of Cefpodoxime proxetil against the bacteria. Together, Hhcepo-Cv 2.5gm Paed Suspension helps to treat bacterial infections.
