About Grisofulvin Tablet 10's

Grisofulvin Tablet 10's belongs to a class of drugs called antifungals used to treat fungal infections of the skin like ringworm, jock itch, athlete’s foot, and fungal infections of nails and hair. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).

Grisofulvin Tablet 10's contains Griseofulvin which works by binding to the keratin (a protein that is formed in the cells of the skin, hair follicles, and nail bed) and inhibits the growth and multiplication of fungal cells. Thereby, it prevents newly grown keratin from being infected by fungal cells. The infected keratin dies and sheds from the body leaving new healthy keratin.

Take Grisofulvin Tablet 10's as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you on how often you need to take Grisofulvin Tablet 10's based on your medical condition. Some people may experience nausea, diarrhoea, headache, and discomfort in the stomach. Most of these side effects of Grisofulvin Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Grisofulvin Tablet 10's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Grisofulvin Tablet 10's. Avoid or limit sun exposure while using Grisofulvin Tablet 10's as it may cause photosensitivity reactions (make the skin more sensitive to the sun’s UV rays). Wear protective clothing and use sunscreen while going out to protect your skin from sunburn. Do not take Grisofulvin Tablet 10's if you have porphyria (blood disorder), or liver failure.
