Gamlin Tablet 10's is a combination medicine used to treat neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease which causes nerve pain. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping, and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful).
Gamlin Tablet 10's contains Gabapentin, methylcobalamin, and nortriptyline. Gabapentin works by binding to the specific site on voltage-gated calcium channels; this helps in relieving nerve pain. Nortriptyline increases the level of serotonin and noradrenaline, thereby decreasing the movement of pain receptors. Methylcobalamin helps protect and rejuvenate the nerve cells and nerve fibres. Together, Gamlin Tablet 10's helps in providing relief from neuropathic pain.
