Flemnil Syrup 120 ml is a respiratory medication used to treat a cough with mucus, stuffy nose, sinus congestion, and chest congestion caused by the common cold. Coughing occurs as a reflex action in the throat when there is mucus or any other foreign irritant in it. The common cold is a respiratory illness that affects nose and throat and is caused by viruses known as 'rhinoviruses'. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that works by contracting and narrowing the blood vessels. Thus, Flemnil Syrup 120 ml helps relieve cough with mucus due to respiratory infection, allergy, common cold, asthma and Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) conditions. 

Take Flemnil Syrup 120 ml regularly at a fixed time. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the course based on the severity of your congestion. Like every other medication, Flemnil Syrup 120 ml also has common side effects like nausea, indigestion, loss of appetite, bloating, diarrhoea, vomiting, stomach pain, dizziness, drowsiness, headache, sweating, skin rash, itching, and insomnia.
