About Flamit Plus Tablet

Flamit Plus Tablet is a combination medicine used to treat pain and inflammation. Pain can be temporary (acute) or lifelong (chronic) in nature. Acute pain is for short time caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or organs. While, chronic pain lasts for a longer duration caused due to nerve damage, osteoarthritis, and dental pain due to damage of the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury.

Flamit Plus Tablet contains Diclofenac sodium and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac sodium works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) which cause pain and swelling at the injured or damaged tissue. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that helps in the breakdown of fibrin, a by-product of blood clots into smaller units. It also promotes fluid drainage in the swollen tissue. Together, Flamit Plus Tablet treats pain and inflammation.

Take Flamit Plus Tablet as prescribed. Your doctor will advise you how often you take Flamit Plus Tablet based on your medical condition. Common side effects of Flamit Plus Tablet include stomach ache, diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and indigestion. Most of these side effects of Flamit Plus Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not take Flamit Plus Tablet if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. It is not recommended for use in children. Flamit Plus Tablet may be associated with a small increased risk of heart attack/myocardial infarction; therefore, inform your doctor if you have/had heart problems. Consult your doctor before taking Flamit Plus Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is advisable not to exceed the recommended dose or duration of treatment.

Flamit Plus Tablet relieves pain and inflammation. It is composed of Diclofenac sodium and Serratiopeptidase. Diclofenac sodium plays a vital role in reducing pain and inflammation by blocking the release of chemical messengers which cause pain and fever. Serratiopeptidase is a proteolytic enzyme that helps in the breakdown of fibrin, a by-product of blood clots, into smaller units. It also promotes fluid drainage in the swollen tissue. Together, Flamit Plus Tablet helps provide relief from pain and inflammation.

Directions for Use

Take Flamit Plus Tablet during or after the meal to minimize symptoms of stomach upset or irritation. Swallow it as a whole with water. Do not chew, crush or break it.

Drug Warnings

If you have a severe allergy to painkillers and complications like asthma, rhinitis, angioedema (swelling under the skin) or skin rashes, consult your doctor before taking Flamit Plus Tablet . Consumption of alcohol should be avoided during the treatment with Flamit Plus Tablet as it may lead to unpleasant side effects. Patients with stomach ulcers, gastric bleeding, severe heart failure, stroke, and hypertension (high blood pressure), should not take Flamit Plus Tablet . Besides this, it should be avoided during the last trimester of pregnancy unless advised otherwise by a doctor. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery as intake of Flamit Plus Tablet may cause dizziness. Patients who have recently undergone heart bypass surgery should take Flamit Plus Tablet with caution and only under medical supervision.
