Ezydox Tablet 30's
About Ezydox Tablet 30's
Ezydox Tablet 30's belongs to the class of medications called “anti-emetics” primarily used to treat nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It helps treat morning sickness (nauseous feeling during the first trimester) in pregnant women. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which a person feels an urge to vomit, while vomiting is the body's natural response to discharge the stomach content forcefully.
Ezydox Tablet 30's is a combination of two drugs, namely: Doxylamine succinate and Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6). Doxylamine succinate belongs to the class of antihistamines that works by blocking the natural chemical (histamine) in the body, thereby preventing nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine/vitamin B6 deficiency may cause nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Pyridoxine hydrochloride works by increasing the level of vitamin B6 in the body and thus treating nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.
You are advised to take Ezydox Tablet 30's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as dizziness, stomach pain, constipation, and dry mouth. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
If you are allergic to Ezydox Tablet 30's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking Ezydox Tablet 30's if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Ezydox Tablet 30's may make you dizzy or drowsy, hence avoid driving if you are not alert mentally. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Ezydox Tablet 30's as it could lead to increased drowsiness. Ezydox Tablet 30's is not recommended for anyone below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy have not been established.
