Eylub Drops 10ml belongs to the class of medicines called 'ophthalmic lubricants' generally used to treat dry eye disease and eye irritation. Dry eye disease is a common condition that occurs if you don't produce enough tears or if you produce poor-quality tears. This tear instability leads to inflammation and damage to the eye's surface.

Eylub Drops 10ml contains 'Sodium carboxymethylcellulose'. Eylub Drops 10ml works by increasing tear viscosity in the eye. In this way, it provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort.

Eylub Drops 10ml should be taken as advised by your doctor. Eylub Drops 10ml causes common side effects like eye redness, burning eyes, stinging in the eyes, allergic reaction in the eye. If it persists, take the advice of your doctor.

Eylub Drops 10ml may cause temporary blurring of vision and hence you should refrain from driving or using heavy machinery immediately after applying it.  If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness, or irritation of the eye and if the condition worsens or persists for more than 72 hours, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

Drug-drug interactions: Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use, especially of other eye medications.

• Drink more water, it has a big part to play in tear production.
• Avoid air blowing in your eyes
• Take eye breaks during long tasks and keep your computer screen below eye level.
• Stop smoking and avoid drinking alcohol.
• Use eyeglasses when you are going out.

• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before using Eylub Drops 10ml. 
• Tell your doctor if your eye condition persists or worsens after 3 days.
