Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet is a combination drug containing 'anti-anxiety medication,' primarily used to treat anxiety disorder. An anxiety disorder is a mental condition characterized by feelings of excessive fear or worry that affect an individual's daily activities. High levels of anxiety can cause panic attacks, with intense feelings of nervousness, fear, sudden onset of sweating, hyperventilation, fast heartbeat, and skin flushing.

Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet contains Etizolam (benzodiazepine) and Propanolol (a beta-blocker), used to treat anxiety. Etizolam works by increasing the action of a chemical messenger GABA, which suppresses the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells in the brain. Propanolol works by blocking a certain chemical messenger in the heart and blood vessels, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, and workload on the heart.

Take Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending upon your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience confusion, slow heart rate, memory impairment, tiredness, cold extremities, uncoordinated body movements, drowsiness. Most of these side effects of Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.  

If you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet contains Etizolam, a habit-forming drug, so take it in dose and duration prescribed by a doctor. Do not stop taking Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet even if you feel better as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet is known to cause drowsiness, so do not drive or operate machinery. Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may reduce the effectiveness of Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet .

Do not take Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet if you are allergic to Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet or any of its ingredients. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before starting Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet as it may cause adverse effects in the baby. Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet should be used with caution in elderly patients as there is an increased risk of adverse reactions such as dizziness, muscle weakness, and drowsiness. Inform your doctor if you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness), chronic pulmonary insufficiency, drug addiction, kidney or liver problems before taking Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet . Do not take Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet with opioids as it may cause breathing problems, drowsiness, coma, and even death.

• Do not take Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet for a prolonged time as it may lead to mental or physical dependence on Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet .
• Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet causes drowsiness. Avoid doing activities that require your complete focus and attention, like driving when on this drug.
• An abrupt stoppage of Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet can lead to significant withdrawal symptoms. Always discuss with your doctor about decreasing the dosage before completely stopping its usage.
• Avoid consuming alcohol while on Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet  as it can lead to dangerous side effects.
• Etilaam PRO 20 Tablet is unsafe for usage if you're pregnant or are planning to get pregnant. Discuss with your doctor in such situations about changing/replacing the medicine with safer alternatives.
• To avoid getting addicted to this drug, take it only in prescribed quantities and only as directed by your doctor. Do not self-medicate.
