Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm belongs to a class of drugs called 'corticosteroids' used as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of ulcerative proctitis. Ulcerative proctitis is a type of ulcerative colitis and is a condition that causes inflammation of the lining tissue of the inner rectum.

Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm contains Hydrocortisone, a steroid that works by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness and swelling. 

Use Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm as prescribed. You are advised to use Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Entofoam 10% Foam 20.8 gm may cause side effects such as irregular periods, unexpected flattening of the neck, face and body, dusky complexion with purple patches, hair starts to grow on the body (women) or itching.
