EBAST 5MG TABLET works by blocking the effect of histamine (chemical messenger) which is responsible for the allergic reactions, thereby provides relief from allergic symptoms such as swelling, itching, rashes, sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.
EBAST 5MG TABLET causes dizziness and drowsiness. So, drive only if you are alert and omit driving or operating machinery if you feel dizzy or drowsy.
EBAST 5MG TABLET may cause dry mouth. Limiting caffeine intake, avoiding smoking and mouthwashes containing alcohol, drinking water regularly, and chewing sugar-free gum/candy might help in stimulating saliva and thereby prevents drying of the mouth.
EBAST 5MG TABLET is generally prescribed for short-term use. Nevertheless, continue taking EBAST 5MG TABLET for as long as your doctor has prescribed it to you to avoid recurring symptoms. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking EBAST 5MG TABLET.
It is generally safe to take EBAST 5MG TABLET for up to 7 days in patients with mild to moderately impaired liver function. However, do not take EBAST 5MG TABLET if you have severely impaired liver function. Consult your doctor if you have any concerns.

EBAST 5MG TABLET belongs to the group of medicines called 'Histamine H1 receptor antagonist' primarily used to treat allergic conditions like seasonal allergies/hay fever, allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis (stuffy nose) and allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergies). Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule-Do not crush, chew or break the tablet/capsule, swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Suspension/Syrup-Shake the bottle well and take the prescribed dose/quantity by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe provided by the pack.
