Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.
Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.
Use Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop as prescribed by your doctor. Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop. Drive only if your vision is clear as Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Earzet OF 0.3% Eye Drop.
