DV K Plus Capsule 10's treats nutritional deficiencies and contains Cholecalciferol, Folic acid, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, Methylcobalamin, and Elemental Zinc. Cholecalciferol helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralization of bone. It treats and prevents bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It treats folate deficiency and hyperhomocysteinemia (high blood levels of amino acids, homocysteine). Pyridoxine hydrochloride treats and prevents vitamin B6 deficiency, anemia (lack of red blood cells), peripheral neuropathy (nerve disorder), and seizures (fits). It is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions and is used to treat pernicious anemia (red blood cells are not produced due to Vitamin B12 deficiency), neuropathy (nerve damage), and multiple sclerosis (immune system disease affecting the brain). Elemental Zinc is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. It boosts the immune system, reduces inflammation, and maintains metabolic function.
