Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml is a combination of two bronchodilators, namely: Levosalbutamol and Ipratropium bromide. Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml belongs to the class of bronchodilators that works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it allows us to breathe easily.

Use Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often you use Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml based on your medical condition. Some people may experience headache, sore throat, dry mouth, runny or stuffy nose, pain, cough with mucus, sneezing, chest tightness, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, nervousness, tiredness, irregular heartbeats and vomiting. Most of these side effects of Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Drug-Drug Interaction: Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml may interact with bronchodilators (salmeterol, albuterol, vilanterol, formoterol, tiotropium), steroids (budesonide, prednisone), water pills (furosemide), anti-sickness drug (ondansetron), heart-related medicines (atropine).

Drug-Food Interaction: Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml may interact with caffeine. Therefore, avoid or limit the intake of caffeinated beverages, foods or dietary supplements with Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml as it may increase the risk of adverse effects.

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have high blood pressure, diabetes, fits, enlarged prostate, glaucoma, thyroid or heart problems, bladder obstruction or other urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml.

• Eat foods rich in potassium such as tomatoes, bananas, asparagus, oranges, potatoes, avocados, dark leafy greens, and beetroots as potassium is important for lung function and a potassium deficiency may cause breathing problems.
• Drink plenty of fluids every day to thin mucus which makes it easier to cough out.
• Maintain a diet that includes complex carbohydrates such as lentils, beans, barley, oats, quinoa, bran, peas, and potatoes with skin.
• Limit or avoid the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, soda, and energy drinks like red bull.
• Eat protein-rich foods such as meat, fish (particularly salmon, sardines, and mackerel), eggs, and poultry.
• Exercise regularly to strengthen your breathing muscles and boost your immune system. Learning breathing exercises will help you move more air in and out of your lungs.
• Quit smoking as it may reduce the effectiveness of the Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml and irritate the lungs worsening breathing problem.

Avoid contact of Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml with eyes, especially if you have glaucoma (damaged eye nerve due to increased eye pressure) as it may worsen the condition and cause eye irritation or blurred vision. A fungal infection might occur in your mouth and throat, so it is advisable to gargle with warm water after each inhalation of Duolin LD Respules 5X2.5 ml.
