Duolin Forte Inhaler belongs to the class of medications called bronchodilators used to treat or prevent symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as shortness of breath, coughing, and wheezing (whistling sound while breathing). COPD is a lung disorder that includes emphysema (breathing problems caused by a damaged air sac) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation and narrowing of the lining of airways or bronchial tubes).

Duolin Forte Inhaler contains Ipratropium and Levosalbutamol. Duolin Forte Inhaler works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it allows to breathe easily and provides relief from the symptoms of COPD such as coughing, wheezing, and shortness of breath.

Your doctor will advise the dosage and duration of Duolin Forte Inhaler based on your medical condition. Headache, sore throat, dry mouth, runny or stuffy nose, cough with mucous, sneezing, chest tightness, dizziness, nervousness, weariness, irregular heartbeats, and vomiting are the possible side effects. Most of the side effects of Duolin Forte Inhaler do not require medical attention and fade away with time. Please visit your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

If you are allergic to Duolin Forte Inhaler or any other medicines, pregnant or breastfeeding, or experience severe difficulty in breathing, please consult a doctor. Do not use Duolin Forte Inhaler in more than the prescribed doses as it may lead to severe heart or lung problems. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking Duolin Forte Inhaler for a prolonged time as it may cause low potassium levels in the blood. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes fits, enlarged prostate, glaucoma, thyroid or heart problems, bladder obstruction or other urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Duolin Forte Inhaler.

Please do not use or store Duolin Forte Inhaler near open flame or heat as it may burst the container.

• Avoid contact of Duolin Forte Inhaler with eyes, especially if you have glaucoma (damaged eye nerve due to increased eye pressure), as it may worsen the condition and cause eye irritation or blurred vision.
• Fungal infections might occur in your mouth and throat, so it is advisable to gargle with warm water after each inhalation of Duolin Forte Inhaler.
