About Ducof LS Syrup 100 ml

Ducof LS Syrup 100 ml is a cough suppressant medicine. It is used to treat cough. It helps provides relief from cough associated with mucus, chest congestion and stuffy nose caused due to common cold and flu. Coughing can be defined as the body's way of clearing irritants like allergens, mucus or smoke from the airways. Cough can be described as two types, namely: dry cough and wet cough. A dry cough is a non-productive cough that is tickly and doesn't produce any mucus. A wet cough (chesty cough) is a productive cough that produces mucous or sputum.

Ducof LS Syrup 100 ml is a combination medicine containing Ambroxol (mucolytic agent), Guaiphenesin (expectorant) and Levosalbutamol (bronchodilators). Guaiphenesin increases the volume of fluid in the airways and helps to remove it from the airways. Levosalbutamol works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs.
