Dexoren-SP Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml does not work against infections caused by viruses and fungi.
Dexoren-SP Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is a combination of Chloramphenicol, Dexamethasone, and Polymyxin B. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic that acts by interfering with the formation of essential proteins required for bacterial growth. Dexamethasone is a steroid that reduces inflammation and symptoms associated with infection, such as redness and irritation. Polymyxin B is bactericidal that works by killing the bacterial cell by preventing bacterial cell walls' formation essential for survival. Together Dexoren-SP Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml prevent the spread of eye and ear infections caused by a wide range of gram-negative bacteria causing eye/ear infections.
