Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's is respiratory combination medication primarily used to treat or prevent asthma symptoms such as shortness of breath or wheezing (whistling sound while breathing). Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing.

Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's is a combination of two drugs, namely: Levosalbutamol (bronchodilator) and Beclometasone (corticosteroid). Levosalbutamol belongs to the class of bronchodilators that works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Beclometasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by acting inside cells of the nasal lining and stops the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammatory reactions. Thereby, provides relief from sneezing, runny or blocked nose and sinus discomfort.

Use Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend you how often you take Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's based on your medical condition. Some people may experience fungal infection in the mouth, headache, sore throat, runny nose, pain, dizziness, nervousness, fast heart rate and vomiting. Most of these side effects of Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Directions for Use

Inhaler: Shake the inhaler well and check the label for directions before using it. Hold the inhaler with the mouthpiece downwards. Put the mouthpiece between your teeth and seal the lips around it. Then, press down the inhaler once to release the medication. Breathe in slowly and hold your breath for 5 to 10 seconds. Breathe out slowly. Repeat the process until you have inhaled the number of puffs advised by the doctor. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after using the inhaler to avoid fungal infections in mouth and throat. Rotacaps/Respicaps: It is for inhalation only. Do not swallow the capsule. The capsule should be placed at the base of the rotahaler/respihaler and completely twist the mouthpiece until you hear a click sound. Then, breathe in through the mouthpiece deeply and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after using these capsules to avoid fungal infections in mouth and throat.

Drug Interactions

Drug-Drug Interaction: Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's may interact with bronchodilators (salmeterol, albuterol, vilanterol, formoterol), steroids (budesonide, prednisone), water pills (furosemide), anti-sickness drug (ondansetron).

Drug-Food Interaction: Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid intake of alcohol with Derisone L Forte Respicap 30's as it may increase drowsiness. Also, inform your doctor if you are taking any herbal supplements, vitamins or OTC medicines.
