Combinase FT Nasal Spray 9.8 gm belongs to the class of medications called 'anti-allergic' primarily used to treat allergic symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, congestion, stuffy nose, or watery eyes. An allergy is a condition that occurs when the immune system reacts to a foreign substance that is typically not harmful to your body. These foreign substances are known as ‘allergens.’ Allergic condition varies from person to person. Combinase FT Nasal Spray 9.8 gm is a combination of two drugs, namely: Fluticasone propionate (corticosteroid) and Azelastine (antihistamine/antiallergic). Drug-Drug Interaction: Combinase FT Nasal Spray 9.8 gm may interact with antidepressants (duloxetine, escitalopram), anticonvulsants (pregabalin), HIV/AIDS drug (ritonavir), antifungals (ketoconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole) and anti-allergy drugs (cetirizine).

Drug-Food Interaction: Combinase FT Nasal Spray 9.8 gm may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid intake of grapefruit juice with Combinase FT Nasal Spray 9.8 gm as it may lead to adrenal insufficiency and Cushing’s syndrome. Also, avoid consumption of alcohol with Combinase FT Nasal Spray 9.8 gm as it may cause increased drowsiness, dizziness, impairment of judgement, and thinking.
