Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml

Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml is a combination medicine used to treat psoriasis. Additionally, Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml may also be used to treat seborrheic dermatitis. Psoriasis is a skin condition in which skin cells multiply up to 10 times faster than usual, leading to skin build-up into bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales. Seborrheic dermatitis is a skin condition which causes an itchy rash with flaky scales.
 
Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Coal tar, and Salicylic acid. Clobetasol works by inhibiting the release of chemical messengers that cause inflammation and redness. Coal tar and salicylic acid help break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells, and soften the skin. Together, Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml helps in treating psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis.
 
You are advised to use Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
 
Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml if you had a skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine. Consult your doctor before using Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Do not apply Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml on children’s skin unless prescribed by the doctor.

Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml if you are allergic to any of the contents. Inform your doctor if you have/had skin reaction or irritation to any steroid medicine; if you have glaucoma, diabetes, adrenal gland disorder, lupus, sensitivity of the skin to light, kidney or liver disease. Consult your doctor before using Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml in more than prescribed doses or on a large area of skin for a longer duration, as it may cause adverse effects. Do not wrap or cover the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor. Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml should be used with caution in children if prescribed by the doctor.

• Clean and dry the affected area before using Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml.
• Do not use Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml on dressing, band-aids, and make-up unless told by the doctor.
• If Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml comes in contact with eyes, nose, or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml. However, do not wash your hands if you are applying Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml on your hands.
• Do not apply Cloyap-CS Lotion 60 ml on wounds, cuts, damaged skin, or scrapes.
