New Castor NF Cream 15 gm belongs to a class of dermatological medication ‘Topical Anti-Infectives with Corticosteroids’ used to reduce swelling, itching, and redness caused due to certain skin infections (psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema, allergies, rash) caused by bacteria and fungus. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. New Castor NF Cream 15 gm contains four medicines namely Clobetasol, ofloxacin, ornidazole, and terbinafine. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by stopping them from replicating and restoring themselves. You are advised to use New Castor NF Cream 15 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application, skin peeling, and thinning of the skin. Most of these side effects of New Castor NF Cream 15 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Drug-Drug Interaction: New Castor NF Cream 15 gm may interact with a pain killer (codeine), muscle relaxant (tizanidine), antiparkinson’s medicines (selegiline, rasagiline), heart disease (disopyramide, quinidine), blood thinner (warfarin), antiviral/HIV medicines (atazanavir), antifungal (ketoconazole, fluconazole), anti T.B medicine (rifampicin), antidiabetic (acarbose).

• Eat foods rich in quercetin (a flavonoid), such as apples, cherries, broccoli, spinach, and blueberries.
• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps develop the immune system against allergies.
• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid consumption of foods with excess sugar as it may flare up inflammation.
