Candid TV Suspension 75 ml is a topical combination medication primarily used to treat fungal skin infections, such as seborrheic dermatitis (dandruff) and tinea versicolor (a small patch of discoloured skin). Fungal infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Symptoms of a fungal infection include a scaly rash, discoloured skin which is very itchy in nature.
Candid TV Suspension 75 ml is composed of two medicines: 'Clotrimazole' (antifungal) and 'Selenium sulfide' (anti-infective). Clotrimazole works by stopping the growth of the fungi cell by causing damage and leaking out all content, thereby killing it. On the other hand, Selenium sulphide is an anti-infective agent that relieves itching and flaking of the scalp and removes the dry, scaly particles. Besides this, it also reduces skin damage due to infection by decreases flaking or scaling of the skin, which helps in new skin formation. Together Candid TV Suspension 75 ml treats various fungal skin infections and dandruff from the scalp.

If the medicine gets into your eyes, nose, mouth, or open-cut wounds, immediately rinse with cold water.
