Avoid contact of Caldob Cream 30 gm with nose, ears, mouth or eyes. In case Caldob Cream 30 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, please inform your doctor before taking Caldob Cream 30 gm. Do not cover the treated area with any bandages unless advised by your doctor as it may increase the risk of adverse effects. Avoid using Caldob Cream 30 gm in large amounts or for a longer time than prescribed as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects. Do not swallow Caldob Cream 30 gm. In case of accidental swallowing, please consult a doctor immediately. If you have kidney or liver disease, eye problems, chickenpox, tuberculosis, fungal infection, herpes, rectal sores, stomach/intestinal problems, diabetes or blood disorders, inform your doctor before using Caldob Cream 30 gm.

Directions for Use

Use Caldob Cream 30 gm as prescribed by your doctor. Apply a small amount of Caldob Cream 30 gm on the clean and dry affected area of the skin in the anal region and apply into the anus gently with the help of applicator provided. Caldob Cream 30 gm is only for external use. Avoid contact of Caldob Cream 30 gm with nose, mouth or eyes. In case Caldob Cream 30 gm comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Wash your hands before and after using Caldob Cream 30 gm.

Caldob Cream 30 gm contains Calcium dobesilate, Hydrocortisone, Lignocaine, and Zinc. It is used to treat piles. Calcium dobesilate is a vasoprotective (prevent diseases that affect blood vessels) agent that acts on the walls of small blood vessels and reduces their delicacy and leakage. Also, it improves blood flow by reducing the thickness of blood and helps in relieving redness and swelling in piles. Hydrocortisone is a steroid that inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling caused due to piles. Lignocaine is a local anesthetic that decreases pain sensation by preventing the transmission of pain signals from nerves to the brain.  Zinc acts as an astringent (shrink pores and absorbs excess oils) and antiseptic.

About Caldob Cream 30 gm

Caldob Cream 30 gm belongs to a class of medications called anorectal preparations primarily used in the treatment of haemorrhoids (piles). It helps in relieving itching, pain, swelling and discomfort caused by piles and other problems in the anal area. Haemorrhoids are also known as piles, a medical condition that occurs when veins present in the anus and rectum area (the last part of the large intestine that ends up in the anus) swell and become painful.

Caldob Cream 30 gm contains calcium dobesilate (vasoprotective agent), hydrocortisone (steroid), lignocaine (local anaesthetic) and zinc (astringent). Calcium dobesilate acts on the walls of small blood vessels and reduces their delicacy and leakage. Also, it improves blood flow by reducing the thickness of blood and helps in relieving redness and swelling in piles.
