L-Methyl folate, a form of folic acid has multiple uses. It is an important ingredient required for the production of blood. It also acts as a promoter in the manufacturing of mood-lifting hormones responsible for regulating mood and helps combat mood swings and depression. Folic acid is also extremely important for the normal functioning of the nervous system and aids the development of the foetal brain. Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), is essential for DNA synthesis and is hence vital in the production of healthy blood cells and also in providing for foetal growth and development. Vitamin B12 also helps prevent any neural tube defects. Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate is a form of pyridoxine (Vitamin B6), which is also very useful in the production of red blood cells.
