About Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml

Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml belongs to the class of  'anti-allergens'. Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml is used in the treatment of allergic skin conditions. It is also used to treat itching, insect/sting bites, eczema, and other minor skin conditions.

Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml is a combination of three medicines namely: calamine, diphenhydramine, and camphor. Calamine and camphor are two astringents whereas diphenhydramine is anti-allergic. The astringents work by imparting a cooling sensation on the skin to relieve minor skin irritation and the antiallergic works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine), thereby relieving symptoms of skin allergy.

Use  Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml exactly as directed on the label, or as prescribed by your doctor. Do not use in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended. Before you apply Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml topical, wash the skin with soap and water. Allow the skin to dry completely. Apply Calactodryl Skin Protectant Lotion 50 ml directly to the skin and rub it gently, allowing it to dry on your skin. You may also use a cotton ball to smooth the medicine onto your skin.
