Biwork Cream

Biwork Cream is a dermatological medication indicated for the topical treatment of fungal infection of the skin with eczema. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).

Biwork Cream is a combination of two drugs, namely: Sertaconazole nitrate (antifungal) and Beclomethasone dipropionate (corticosteroid). Sertaconazole nitrate works by damaging the fungal cell membranes, ultimately killing fungi. On the other hand, Beclomethasone dipropionate works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. 

Biwork Cream is only for external use. Some people may experience skin tenderness, mild rash, dry skin, skin bruising, itching, irritation, redness, burning, or stinging sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects of Biwork Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Biwork Cream or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Biwork Cream. Do not apply Biwork Cream to broken skin or open cuts/wounds. Do not swallow Biwork Cream. In case of accidental swallowing, please consult a doctor immediately. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Biwork Cream catches fire and burns easily. 

Biwork Cream contains Sertaconazole nitrate and Beclomethasone dipropionate used to treat fungal skin infections. Sertaconazole nitrate is an antifungal that works by damaging the fungal cell membranes that are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells. Thus, stops the leakage of cell contents and kills fungi. Beclomethasone dipropionate is a corticosteroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such chemicals are released normally. Together, they clear the fungal infection and provide relief from redness, swelling, and itching of the skin caused due to infections.

If you are allergic to Biwork Cream or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid contact of Biwork Cream with nose, mouth, or eyes as it may cause irritation. In case Biwork Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Biwork Cream. Do not apply Biwork Cream to broken skin or cuts. Avoid covering the treated area with dressings or bandages unless advised by a doctor. Do not swallow Biwork Cream. In case of accidental swallowing, please consult a doctor immediately. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Biwork Cream catches fire and burns easily. If you have acne, rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), or any other skin infection, inform your doctor before using Biwork Cream.

• Please consult a dermatologist if your skin infection persists for more than one month.
• Biwork Cream will not help in skin conditions like acne or rosacea. 
• Biwork Cream can dry onto your clothes and bedding, making them more likely to catch fire. So try to avoid naked flames.
