Biofluti-AZ Nasal Spray 10 ml belongs to the class of medications called 'anti-allergic' primarily used to treat allergic symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, congestion, stuffy nose, or watery eyes. An allergy is a condition that occurs when the immune system reacts to a foreign substance that is typically not harmful to your body. These foreign substances are known as ‘allergens.’ Allergic condition varies from person to person. Some might be allergic to certain foods and seasonal allergies like hay fever, pollen, or pet dander. Biofluti-AZ Nasal Spray 10 ml is a combination of two drugs, namely: Fluticasone propionate (corticosteroid) and Azelastine (antihistamine/antiallergic). Drug-Drug Interaction: Biofluti-AZ Nasal Spray 10 ml may interact with antidepressants (duloxetine, escitalopram), anticonvulsants (pregabalin), HIV/AIDS drug (ritonavir), antifungals (ketoconazole, fluconazole, itraconazole) and anti-allergy drugs (cetirizine).

Drug-Food Interaction: Biofluti-AZ Nasal Spray 10 ml may interact with grapefruit juice. Therefore, avoid intake of grapefruit juice with Biofluti-AZ Nasal Spray 10 ml as it may lead to adrenal insufficiency and Cushing’s syndrome. Also, avoid consumption of alcohol with Biofluti-AZ Nasal Spray 10 ml as it may cause increased drowsiness, dizziness, impairment of judgement, and thinking.
