Betnovate C Cream 30 gm belongs to a class of dermatological medication' Topical Anti-Infectives with Corticosteroids' used to treat skin conditions like eczema (itchy inflamed skin), psoriasis (red, itchy, scaly patch on skin), insect bites and other types of rash. Betnovate C Cream 30 gm is a combination of two drugs, namely: Betamethasone (corticosteroid) and Clioquinol (antifungal and antiprotozoal). Betnovate C Cream 30 gm treat fungal and bacterial infections of the skin. Also, Betnovate C Cream 30 gm helps to reduce swelling, itching and redness caused due to specific skin problems. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and cause infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another). The bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grows in the body and cause infection.
Betamethasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching and swelling. If you are known to be allergic to Betnovate C Cream 30 gm, iodine or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Betnovate C Cream 30 gm. Do not use Betnovate C Cream 30 gm in more than prescribed doses, or for a prolonged time as it may cause adverse effects. Drug-Drug Interaction: Betnovate C Cream 30 gm may interact with drugs used to lower high blood pressure (metoprolol), pain killers (aspirin), antianxiety drugs (alprazolam), laxatives (magnesium sulphate) and antiepileptic (vigabatrin).
