BETASOL TABLET belongs to a class of medicines called corticosteroids (steroids that reduce swelling). BETASOL TABLET is primarily used to reduce inflammation (swelling, redness, heat, and tenderness) in the body. Thus, it is used to improve different conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, asthma, severe allergic reactions, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLS) and polyarteritis nodosa (swollen arteries), inflammatory conditions of the skin, heart, kidney (like minimal change nephrotic syndrome or acute interstitial nephritis) and bowels (like ulcerative colitis-inflammation in the digestive tract or Crohn’s disease), certain conditions of the blood, some connective tissues diseases and some types of cancer such as malignant lymphoma. 

BETASOL TABLET contains Betamethasone, a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any type of allergens, such chemicals are released normally.

Directions for Use

Tablet: Take it with or without food as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew it.Oral drops: Shake the bottle well before use. Take it with or without food as advised by your doctor by using the dropper provided with the pack.Soluble tablet as Mouthwash: Dissolve 1 tablet in 10-20 ml of water. Hold the mixture in your mouth for 2-3 minutes around the areas to be treated. Spit it out. Do not swallow the contents. Do not eat or drink for a minimum of 30 minutes after using it.
