New Benadryl DR Honey & Lemon Flavour Cough Lozenges 4's contains Dextromethorphan hydrobromide, a cough suppressant. It works by blocking the cough receptor present in the brain, which is known to cause cough. New Benadryl DR Honey & Lemon Flavour Cough Lozenges 4's is generally prescribed for short-term treatment of dry cough. 

Directions for Use

Tablet: Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.Syrup/Drops: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.Lozenges: Place the lozenge in the mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. Do not crush, chew or swallow as a whole.

Drug-Drug Interaction: New Benadryl DR Honey & Lemon Flavour Cough Lozenges 4's may interact with MAO inhibitor (isocarboxazid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, tranylcypromine), anti-arrhythmic medications (amiodarone, propafenone, quinidine and flecainide), opioid analgesics (codeine, tramadol, morphine, methadone), anti-anxiety medications (fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline) and anti-fungal (terbinafine).
