Belic Tablet 10's belongs to a group of medicines called anti-spasmodic agents used to relieve abdominal pain/cramps. Abdominal pain occurs between the chest and pelvic region, generally known as stomach or tummy pain. The common causes of abdominal pain include inflammation, infections, intestinal disorders and obstruction/blockage.
Belic Tablet 10's contains Hyoscine butylbromide and paracetamol. Hyoscine butylbromide works by relaxing the muscles of the stomach and intestine. Paracetamol is a pain reliever (analgesic) that prevents the release of chemical messengers that result in pain. Together, Belic Tablet 10's relieves abdominal cramps.
You are advised to take Belic Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. In some cases, Belic Tablet 10's may cause dry mouth, constipation, blurred vision, and a slow heart rate.
