Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml is not recommended for children below 4 years to treat eye disorders caused by seasonal allergic conjunctivitis and for children below 12 years to treat eye disorders caused by perennial allergic conjunctivitis. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before taking Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml. Drive only if your vision is clear, as Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using it. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml as it may cause discolouration of the soft contact lens. Do not touch the container tip to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml and cause eye infections.

Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml is used to reduce eye inflammation, treat eye disorders caused by seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis, and relieve eye redness, irritation, burning and swelling in adults and children above 12 years of age. Also, it is used to prevent and treat eye disorders caused by seasonal allergic conjunctivitis in adults and children above 4 years of age. Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml contains Azelastine, an antiallergic drug that blocks the action of histamine, a substance responsible for causing allergic reactions. Azelast Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to the class of medicines called antihistamines (antiallergics) used to reduce eye inflammation. It is used to prevent and treat eye disorders caused by seasonal and perennial allergic conjunctivitis. Eye inflammation is a common condition in which eyes become swollen and red.
