Auglor 16 Tablet

Auglor 16 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called anti-rheumatic and anti-inflammatory agents. Auglor 16 Tablet is used to reduce and relieve pain and inflammation (swelling) in osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. Auglor 16 Tablet works by blocking the effect of a chemical messenger known as cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme that makes other chemical prostaglandins. Prostaglandins are produced at injury sites and cause pain and swelling. By blocking the effect of COX enzymes, lesser prostaglandins are produced. This helps in reducing mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site. Thereby, Auglor 16 Tablet helps to relieve pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Auglor 16 Tablet contains 'Lornoxicam' which works by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Thereby, Auglor 16 Tablet helps relieve pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

You are advised to take Auglor 16 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side-effects such as dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea, headache, vomiting, stomach upset and abdominal pain. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side-effects persist or worsen.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Auglor 16 Tablet should not be taken during the last three months of pregnancy. Auglor 16 Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Auglor 16 Tablet is not recommended for children below 18 years as safety has not been established. It is not known if alcohol affects Auglor 16 Tablet . Please consult your doctor if you have any concerns.
