Atarax Injection 2 ml

Atarax Injection 2 ml contains an antihistaminic medication primarily used to treat allergic reactions. It is used to treat allergic skin conditions with inflammation & itching. In addition to this, it is also used to treat anxiety or tension. An allergy is an immune system response to foreign elements that typically are not harmful to your body. These foreign elements are known as ‘allergens.' An anxiety disorder is a mental condition characterized by excessive fear or worry affecting an individual's daily activities. 

Atarax Injection 2 ml contains Hydroxyzine, which is an antihistamine medicine. It is primarily used to treat allergic reactions. It works by blocking the histamine receptor's action responsible for allergic symptoms. Thus, it plays a vital role in effectively treating allergic reactions. In addition to this, it is also used to treat anxiety as it decreases the brain's activity. 

Atarax Injection 2 ml will be administered by a trained healthcare professional. Hence, do not self-administer. This medicine may cause certain side effects such as itching, skin allergy, nausea, constipation, sedation, vomiting, upset stomach, diarrhea and injection site reactions. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Atarax Injection 2 ml should be avoided if you are allergic to it. If you have breathing problems (such as emphysema and asthma), high blood pressure in the eye (glaucoma), high blood pressure, or kidney problems (for example, due to enlarged prostate), please inform your doctor before starting treatment with Atarax Injection 2 ml. Driving and operating machinery should be avoided after receiving Atarax Injection 2 ml. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant or breastfeeding, as it is not safe in these populations. If Atarax Injection 2 ml is used for anxiety, it should not be used for too long as it may lead to unpleasant side effects.

Alcohol consumption should not be done with Atarax Injection 2 ml as it can potentiate the CNS (central nervous system) effect and lead to depression.
