AMPISYN 250MG TABLET is commonly used to treat various bacterial infections of the lungs, skin, stomach, and kidneys as well as sexually transmitted infections like gonorrhoea. A bacterial infection occurs when harmful bacteria enter the body, multiply and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiple very quickly.
AMPISYN 250MG TABLET contains Ampicillin that works against various types of bacteria. It inhibits the process of bacterial cell wall synthesis that is required for its survival. Thus, AMPISYN 250MG TABLET kills bacteria and prevents the growth of bacterial infection.
AMPISYN 250MG TABLET should be taken 30 minutes before food or 2 hours after food, on an empty stomach. AMPISYN 250MG TABLET may cause certain common side effects such as injection site reactions, rash, vomiting, allergic reaction, vaginal itching, or discharge, nausea, and diarrhea. Most of these side effects are mild and subside over time. However, if these persist contact your doctor immediately.
