Alcoliv Tablet 10's

Alcoliv Tablet 10's belongs to the group of medicines known as antioxidants. It is primarily used to treat alcoholic fatty liver disease and alcohol intoxication (disturbance in mental function or behaviour during or after alcohol consumption). Alcoholic liver disease describes medical conditions and their corresponding symptoms which develop due to liver damage caused by alcohol misuse and abuse. When the disease arises, it may not lead to any symptoms in the early times until the individual’s liver has undergone widespread damage.

Alcoliv Tablet 10's contains metadoxine, which is an antioxidant. Alcoliv Tablet 10's works by preventing the liver from harmful chemical substances. It enhances the elimination of alcohol from blood and tissues, which leads to faster recovery from alcohol intoxication, hence preventing liver damage.

Take Alcoliv Tablet 10's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Alcoliv Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical conditions. You may experience nausea, diarrhoea, and upset stomach. Most of these side effects of Alcoliv Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Alcoliv Tablet 10's should not be taken in conditions like if you are allergic to Alcoliv Tablet 10's or other ingredients. Please inform your doctor if you have any allergies, liver or kidney problems, are pregnant or planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding. You are recommended to avoid the consumption of alcohol with Alcoliv Tablet 10's as it may interact with Alcoliv Tablet 10's. The doctor will decide on the right dose of the drug after checking the severity of the condition. Do not increase or reduce the dose without asking a doctor.

Alcoliv Tablet 10's should not be taken in conditions like if you are allergic to Alcoliv Tablet 10's or any other ingredients present in it. Please inform your doctor if you have any allergies, or liver or kidney problems. Using this Alcoliv Tablet 10's can decrease or increase the effect of some other medicines, so inform your doctor before taking Alcoliv Tablet 10's about all other medicines you are taking. Drug-Drug Interaction: Inform your doctor about all the drugs you are taking or planning to take, including over-the-counter drugs. Anti-parkinson disease (levodopa).

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid intake of alcohol as it may cause serious side effects on your body.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Alcoliv Tablet 10's should be used with caution in allergic patients.

• LEVODOPA

• It prevents the liver from contaminants and helps the liver to perform its normal functions.

• Take it as per the dose and duration recommended by your doctor.

• Diarrhea may happen as a side effect. Drink plenty of fluids and talk to your doctor if diarrhea continues or if you find blood in your stools

• Avoid drinking alcohol.

• Eat lots of vegetables and fruits.

• Eat high-fibre plants like pulse and whole grains.

• Take very little sugar, salt, fat, refined carbohydrates and saturated fat.

Do not consume alcohol while taking Alcoliv Tablet 10's as it may worsen the symptoms.
