ADVOG M 0.2MG FORTE TABLET contains two antidiabetic drugs, namely: Voglibose and Metformin. Voglibose delays glucose absorption by inhibiting the intestinal enzymes, which break complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. Metformin works by reducing the sugar production by cells in the liver and delays sugar absorption from the intestines.
There is no evidence of ADVOG M 0.2MG FORTE TABLET, causing weight loss. However, high doses of medicine affect food absorption, thereby causing a weight loss. Consult your doctor before starting ADVOG M 0.2MG FORTE TABLET.
ADVOG M 0.2MG FORTE TABLET may increase the risk of low blood sugar levels, especially with alcohol intake, exercise more than usual, delay or missing snacks or meals.
