Directions for Use
Medicinal Benefits
Acigrip 200Ml Susp belongs to a group of medicines called antacids and antiulcerants used to treat acidity, heartburn, gas, and stomach ulcers. Acigrip 200Ml Susp is a combination of three drugs: Magaldrate (antacid), Simethicone (anti-flatulent), and Benzocaine (local anaesthetic). Magaldrate works by neutralising excess stomach acid. Simethicone is a mixture of silica gel and dimethicone. It is also known as activated dimethicone. Simethicone works by lowering the surface tension of gas bubbles, thereby facilitating gas expulsion through flatus or belching (burping). It also prevents the accumulation and formation of gas in the digestive tract. Benzocaine exerts a numbing effect, thereby providing relief from pain due to ulcers or acidic injury in the stomach. Together, Acigrip 200Ml Susp provides comfort from acidity, gas, and ulcers.
